Personal Narrative

Kirila Sppech SEP 16

The greatest honor of my life was leading the men and women of the 7th Special Forces Group.  These brilliant Soldiers taught me the greatest leadership lessons of my life.  From the mountains of Afghanistan to the deserts of Iraq and jungles of Colombia these wonderful men and women dealt with life’s greatest challenges while deployed away from their families.  I learned more about self-sacrifice observing them than in any historical vignette.  I learned about leading a family of gifted but challenging people with competing interests.  I learned about mentoring and developing men and women whose life experiences were different than my own.   And I learned about compassion for the families left behind by fallen angels.
How can I help you share in some of these lessons?
